Who We Are
Drug Lord 3 ("the game", "we", "us") is a mobile and web game operated as an indie project.
This privacy policy is provided to help users understand how we treat sensitive user and
device data, as required by the Google Play User Data Policy.

Data We Collect
When you create an account we collect:
- Email address — used for login and password resets
- Username / display name — shown on the leaderboard
- High scores and in-game rank — stored to power the global leaderboard
We do not collect payment card details, precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive device data. Payments are processed entirely by Paystack, which has its own privacy policy.
How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate you and keep your session active
- Display your name and score on the global leaderboard (only when you submit a score)
- Send password-reset emails when you request them
- Process in-app token purchases via Paystack
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the game.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Paystack — payment processing (receives only what is needed to complete the transaction)
- DigitalOcean — VPS hosting provider where game data is stored
Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device and sent only to our own servers.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your account and associated data are kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via our account deletion page. You may also request deletion by emailing christianfourie60@gmail.com — we will action the request within 30 days.
Cookies & Local Storage
The game stores JWT authentication tokens in your device's local storage (SharedPreferences on Android/iOS, localStorage on web). These are used solely to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Children Under 13
Drug Lord 3 is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at christianfourie60@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting christianfourie60@gmail.com. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
